Boardmaker Plus does not really have much support built-in for animation, aside from playing movie files. One thing you can do is make your buttons move using the "Set Button Position" action. But even a simple animation to move a button across the screen can require a long series of actions. The following video demonstrates a macro I wrote that makes this process MUCH easier. It lets you quickly and easily make one button fly across the screen to another one. You can also adjust the speed. I posted a video demonstration of this on my blog, http://yuichisgames.blogspot.com
